Michael Xander Hope is the current supreme superhero, and future savior of Super Earth One, a planet in an alternate realm that was discovered when Dr. Jessica Beck, and an expedition team from the 22nd century attempted to go back in time to the early 21st century. Instead, they ended up several hundred years back in time, and on a different timeline altogether. For a long time, Super Earth One was a peaceful place, where thousands of humans and hyper-being lived in relative peace and harmony… until the rise of the villainous CodeName Zero.
Michael was the first new child born on Super Earth One. When he was just 12 days old, his parents, Danny Brandt and Paloma Vincent, took him to visit the unconscious body of Cynthia Quantic, a time-traveling hyper-being who was responsible for the initial journey of Dr. Beck’s expedition team. During the visit, Cynthia’s body emitted a chronokinetic burst of energy, which engulfed the baby and imbued him with the power to control and manipulate time.

Michael Xander Hope possesses enhanced strength, speed and durability. He can also fly and absorb energy. Additionally, he has the power to slow and speed up the space-time continuum. He is trained in several fighting tactics.
As he grew, he discovered that he had a plethora of other powers, including nearly infinite strength, the power to move at the speed of light, and the ability to fly. This made him the primary enforcer of the laws of Super Earth One, which meant it was his job to take down CodeName Zero.
The villain’s powers and army, however, proved to be considerable, as he did an amazing job at recruiting followers. Captain Infinity found this out the hard way, when he launched an attack on Zero’s lair deep in the Northern Continent of Super Earth One. As he confronted Zero, he found that his own time-manipulation powers were counteracted by Zero’s zero-energy. Furthermore, Zero’s Army of Shadows included a number of villains with incredible powers. The battle was brutal, and though Captain Infinity was able to cripple the Army of Shadows by destroying Zero’s lair, he barely escaped with his life.
It was clear that Captain Infinity would need to recruit a team of his own. And so, the Infinity Force was born. He asked another prominent hero of the time, Doc Diligence to mentor him, and brought on Winter Rose, Sapphire Bolt and Miranda Miracle as initial recruits. Finally, Michael’s powerful little sister, Tori joined the squad, and took on the name Centuria. Under Doc’s steady hand, Captain Infinity’s powers and abilities grew.
The clashes with the Army of Shadows also grew in magnitude, especially when CodeName Zero discovered The Source. Deep in a cave on the Southern Continent of Super Earth One, not far from the planet’s capital city, Beckington, an orb was discovered. Zero learned that this orb was actually the source that not only powered the planet’s core, but also gave power to Captain Infinity, and all of the other hyper-beings on the planet.
CodeName Zero set out the steal The Source, but when he was stopped by the Captain Infinity and the Infinity Force, he decided to take a shot at figuring out a way to duplicate it. Using his zero-energy, he was able to do just that. Now, he and the other members of the Army of Shadows were no longer dependent on The Source to sustain their powers. CodeName Zero’s new mission was to destroy the orb, in the hopes that it would de-power all the heroes, and leave the door open for him to take over.
The battles over The Source were epic, but time and time again, Michael, Tori and the rest of the Infinity Force prevailed. The collateral damage to Beckington, and several other cities on Super Earth One, however, was beginning to get out of hand. The human citizens of the planet began to cry out against the villains and heroes alike. Captain Infinity would have to begin to serve as an ambassador and liaison between hypers and humans. CodeName Zero, on the other hand, saw this as an opportunity to galvanize the hypers against the humans. And in the following months, he began to convince more and more potential heroes to turn away from The Source, and join the Army of Shadows.
Michael’s job was about to get a lot more complicated…
