Captain’s Journal – Day 1 My name is Captain Noble, and I’ve been given the incredible privilege to command the Starship Stratalight. Of the thousands of vessels in the United Global Services fleet, the Stratalight is by far the most technologically advanced. Additionally, my crew is comprised of eleven of the most physiologically enhanced individuals in the galaxy. That is to say, we all have extraordinary hyper-powers. None more extraordinary than our communications technician, Placebo, who is arguably the greatest telepathic and telekinetic woman in the multiverse.
Speaking of Placebo and the multiverse, just a few weeks ago she detected a psionic explosion in deep space – which basically means a person or entity with mental powers somehow lost control of their own mind and sent out a wave of energy that transformed portions of the galaxy. Most of these transformations were relatively small and harmless, however, there were some changes that resulted in catastrophic fallout and have led to war, famine, disease and more. And that brings me to our mission: The Stratalight has been tasked to travel to the far reaches of the galaxy to try and mitigate the effects of the psionic waves.
