In 2016, a massive earthquake literally tore the United States right down the middle and created a 13-mile chasm that stretches from Mexico all the way up to Canada.
In 2030, hundreds of bridges were built over the chasm, and citizens of the now Divided States of America began moving to the side of the country that best suited their sociopolitical beliefs.
In 2035, citizens who did not want to live in extremely polarized environments began creating settlements and communes on the bridges.
These settlements grew exponentially until millions of people from all over the country and all over the world were flooding to the bridges. With the influx of money and the rise of hyper-beings with extraordinary powers, buildings were erected, and neighborhoods were created at an incredible rate.
In 2065, Platinum City was officially born. It is the center of the Creative Extreme Multiverse and the epicenter of the world! A veritable melting pot of cultures and ethnicities, Platinum City is the focal point of technology, industry, manufacturing, politics, entertainment, finance and fashion.
It is also home to thousands of people with extraordinary hyper-powers and hundreds of Vigilante Superheroes.
